Byron's second film

Byron has been very busy working on his second film with the Connections project and it's now ready for everyone to see. He used a different editing programme to the one he used making his first film. The programme he used this time is called Photostory 3 and is freely available from Microsoft. Byron said that it was a lot easier to use and he really enjoyed making his second film.
Byron decided to make his film about the walks organised by Mind, as he had some wonderful photographs taken on the walks and making a film was a great way of showing them. Enjoy the film.

Byron's first film

This is my first attempt at making a film at Mind Aberystwyth. This film is about my family and how we got involved in Line dancing. It starts with my son at an early age up to present day.
I was taught how to make the film at the sessions at Mind Aberystwyth on Tuesday mornings. I am now planning to make a second short film about the walks we go on at Mind. I hope you enjoy my film.

Beach Cleaning and Land Art In Borth

Members took part in a beach clean in Borth on February the 7th as part of the Keep Wales Tidy’s Coast Care programme.

After clearing an area we produced a piece of land art using both pebbles and some of the rubbish we had collected to create something that brought the man made and natural together in a harmonious way.

After completing the beach clean we moved onto the Wildfowler for a well deserved Lunch and sit down!
